The problems of a VoIP network are Latency (accumulated delay), Jitter (effect in which packet delay is not constant) and Eco (effect of the mentioned problems over the telephone signal). The broadband is defined over its through output, packet loss, and delay (packet traffic time from origin to destiny and back).
Originally, quality was a problem for VoIP, but it has greatly improved in recent years, to the point that VoIP quality is now similar to that of conventional telephony.
